Deadly Beauty: Horror’s Scream Queens and Rising Talent: Jaqueline Martini
“No stranger to the film industry, Jaqueline Martini, a 24 year old St.Louis native, has been acting in films for ten years. She has been featured in everything from civil war documentaries to bloody horror films. Horror films being her favorite, she has also been a guest at many horror and sci fi conventions over the years. Most recently writing and producing the suspense film entitled “Azalea”, Jaqueline is eager to get back to work in front of the camera and to start screaming again.
Her horror film credits include The Forever Dead (2007), Zombie Cheerleading Camp (2007), Unwelcomed (2007), A Fistful of Brains (2008) and The Bleeding (2009) as an actress, and she was the co-producer of 2009’s Pieces of Talent.
Jaqueline also has the distinction of being the first actress in the Deadly Beauty series that has worked on a film with the Dedman (2007’s The Forever Dead and Unwelcomed)!”*

1. How did you get into the industry?
My start into the industry was back in 2004 when my uncle wrote a script and was generous enough to write me a part in it. It was a great first experience and I was lucky to have learned so much from such a big production.
2. What Scream Queen inspired you most?
Jamie Lee Curtis. Prom Night. Halloween(s). The Fog. Need I say more?
3. What are the next couple projects you are working on?
I recently wrote and produced a movie called “Azalea” that should be coming out soon. Joe Stauffer and I wrote it together and got some really great actors in it. His work is excellent, so I was really lucky to share that opportunity with him. As far as acting goes, I have stayed out from in front of the camera for a few years now but that’s about to change. Stay tuned…it has been far too long.
