CONTEST IS NOW OVER!!!!!
I have made a lot of indie horror contacts the 10 months I have been writing here at Horror Society and met a lot of horror-minded people along the way. Writing for the site has brought about a lot of great perks but deep down I felt like a bit of an asshole for all things I get for free. No, I’m not going to give you the stuff that was given to me because I am too greedy and I honestly cherish it all. Instead, I reached out to all the wonderful people I have met over the last 10 months and asked if they would like to contribute to a weekly giveaway and a lot of them agreed to it.
The giveaways are weekly contests that will run 7 days exactly and you have two ways of winning. The first way is to simply comment below and answer the weekly question. You can also answer the weekly question via Twitter by using the special hashtag that is assigned to each giveaway making it distinct.
This weeks prize comes from director Eamon Hardiman courtesy of his production company Razor Sharp Studios and the link to his site can be found here. We have a signed poster for Hardiman’s Porkchops, aka Porkchop II: Rise of the Rind, and is signed by Hardiman and a few members of the cast and crew. Along with the poster I am also throwing in my personal copy of Porkchop on DVD. I recently got to hang out with Hardiman and was able to get a signed copy and have no need for this one.
Anyway, to get these two great prizes you need to answer this one question. That question is: “What is your favorite slasher movie kill?” Answer below or via twitter using the hashtag #getporkchopped. The winner will be picked next Tuesday on the 8th by Hardiman himself.
My favorite slasher movie kill would be the Johnny Depp kill in the original Nightmare On Elm Street. Being sucked in to the bed… then all of his blood (an ass ton of it) sprayed everywhere!
I love every kill in the movie The Tripper :)
my favorite horror movie kill would be when Jason Vorhees slams the girl in the sleeping bag against the tree over and over
My favorite kill is the sleeping bag kill in Jason X.
My vote is for Lynda’s death scene in the original Halloween movie, which starts out with Michael Meyers just standing there as a ghost.
I will have to go with the scene in ‘I Spit on Your Grave’ (1978)..where Jennifer slashes/cuts off that guys twig and berries, allowing the newly gelded gentleman to bleed out slowly over the course of a few hours. He had is coming! In this case, he played, and then he certainly payed for it! lol
