STX Media Announces Start of Production on “Dreadtime Stories”
Corpus Christi, Texas – STX Media Studios is excited to announce the start of production on their first feature film “Dreadtime Stories,” a horror anthology by executive producer Sal Hernandez and directed by Jacob Grim.
“Dreadtime Stories” is a film that will consist of 10 tales of terror. This production comes on the cusps of STX Media’s last and well received short film, “The Roommate,” which won Best Screen Play at the San Antonio Horrific Film Fest and won Best Actor (Sal Hernandez), Best Short Film and the Audience Choice Award at the Austin Indie Flix Showcase.
“Dreadtime Stories” will be jammed pack with creatures, madness, carnage and the supernatural. Most recently, “Harvest Hollow,” one of the ten featured shorts, completed principal photography and its trailer is now available on STX Media’s YouTube channel and facebook page. STX Media Studios is based out of Corpus Christi, TX and is owned and operated jointly by Jacob Grim (yes that’s his real name) and Sal Hernandez. Mr. Grim is the Director and Cinematographer of all productions, while Sal serves as Executive Producer and the Director of Communications. Aside from horror films, STX Media also provides other services including graphic and promotional design and commercials.
