2009 – Michael Currie, who appeared in the films “Dead & Buried” and “Halloween III,” passed away at the 81. He played “Sheriff Jonas Carter” on the original “Dark Shadows.”

2002 – One of the greatest monster fighters of all time, Kenneth Tobey, passed away at the age of 85. He fought all the biggies like “The Thing From Another World,” “It Came From Beneath the Sea,” “The Vampire,” “The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms” and “The Naked Monster.”
