Southern California metal merchants Wovenwar will be playing three record release shows this August in Anaheim, San Diego, and Hollywood. The band’s self-titled debut album will drop on August 5th in North America via Metal Blade Records. Read on for further details.

Wovenwar will be playing three record release shows in southern California in August! The shows will be at the Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA, Soma in San Diego, and The Roxy in Hollywood. These shows are not to be missed and promise to be some of the most intense performances from the band, especially after honing their live edges on tour with Black Label Society July through early August! A new track and pre-orders for the band’s self-titled debut will be launched next week at metalblade.com/wovenwar. Wovenwar will be available in North America on August 5th, in the UK/Europe on August 4th, and in the European GAS territories on the 1st of August. Additionally, exclusive pre-order bundles are available with a t-shirt, girls’ tee, and a tank top. The album will also available for pre-order on iTunes.

Wovenwar features the talents of Jordan Mancino (drums), Nick Hipa (guitar), Phil Sgrosso (guitar) and Josh Gilbert (bass) of San Diego, California based metal act As I Lay Dying, and Shane Blay (vocals) of Oh, Sleeper. The band’s first single, “All Rise,” from the band’s upcoming self-titled debut is available now on iTunes HERE. Wovenwar’s debut self-titled release will be dropping in late summer 2014.
Over the course of this past year, Wovenwar completed work on new material and recorded with producer Bill Stevenson (Descendents, Black Flag). Mixing was handled by Colin Richardson (Slipknot, Machine Head, Trivium).
