A bus stop in Lidl on Old Kent Road in England is home to a mysterious and peculiar phenomenon.
An old VHS copy of the iconic Clive Barker movie, Hellraiser, was tossed on top of a platform located within the station. It sat up there for quite some time before it disappeared and became a local mystery. Soon it reappeared, disappeared again, and returned with two copies! And this weird cycle of disappearance and manifestation has been on repeat for two years! Something strange is certainly happening at the bus stop. I mean, who has all this money and time to waste by buying and tossing old copies of Hellraiser around a bus stop?
In the link below you can find lots of pictures of the mystery Hellraiser VHS’s as well as Twitter feeds from interested onlookers discussing the eerie events.
Maybe its a new form of promotion? To me, it looks more like a Hellraiser book adaption than it does a VHS, right?
