Recently I discovered the film Family Property Backwoods Killing Spree. The film is right up my alley. It looks cheesy, cheap, and horrible. Those of you that read my reviews know these are all the things I love when I watch an indie flick. Sadly, I have not been able to watch the film yet but while I was doing a little looking on it I discovered that the filmmaker behind that flick is currently running a crowd funding campaign for a sequel to the film using crowd funding giant Indiegogo. - My name is Derek Young. I am a distributed indie filmmaker and come October will also be a published author. My films are Family Property Backwoods Killing Spree, Midnight Matinee Psycho, and Psychotic State. I am currently shopping Psychotic State to distributors. The other two films are out worldwide and have already been pinned as cult classics. I travel the east coast convention circuit and am currently helping the promoter of Epic Con Geek Fest in Dayton Ohio put it together. I do this because I love it. Nothing is better than making films people enjoy except making films that get distribution deals and that is what I do.
- This campaign will bring everyone the sequel to the worst film ever made. Distribution is already in place so once it is done the distribution company will start working on getting it out.
