‘Zombeavers’ Nibbling Their Way to Blu-ray This October! Details Inside!

zombeaverI want this movie in my life. I need this movie in my life.

It’s been a couple months since the world was introduced to the beauty that is Zombeavers. It was reported on by every major movie outlet, was trending on Twitter for several days, and was the recipient of many mock posters. The buzz about the movie was/is massive. And, really, who doesn’t want to see a horror movie about zombie beavers attacking people? I sure as Hell do!

Since it caught the eyes of horror viewers across the globe with the same appeal as Sharknado, it has gone on to screen in the 2014 Tribeca Film International Film Festival, 2014 Sitges International Film Festival, and Frightfest. Future screenings are also still in the works. It’s being played at some of the most prestigious venues, so now it’s time to release it to the fans.

Zombeavers is hitting DVD and Blu-ray on October 20, 2014 in the UK. This needs a little explaining. The DVD is only going to be a region two release, so it’s only meant for people who have region two players. This means that all of us here in the United States won’t be able to view it. However, the Blu-ray is going to be region free. This means that the Blu-ray will be able to play in whatever device you put it into, the quality may just be a bit off. A couple extra bucks is sure worth the price for seeing the movie, right? It’s only going to be available through Amazon.com UK so click here to pre-order your copy. I would also highly suggest contacting the retailer as to whether or not your specific device will play the Blu-ray outside of the UK despite the fact that it’s region free.

ZOMBEAVERS is an action-packed horror/comedy in which a group of college kids staying at a riverside cabin are menaced by a swarm of deadly zombie beavers. A weekend of sex and debauchery soon turns gruesome as the beavers close in on the kids. Riding the line between scary, sexy and funny, the kids are soon fighting for their lives in a desperate attempt to fend off the hoard of beavers that attack them in and around their cabin.” – IMDB
