Patrick Rea wraps horror star studded ‘Howl of a Good Time.’

When I interviewed Tamara Glynn on October 14, I was so excited to learn that she was taking part in a new horror short, Howl of a Good Time. I’m happy to see that everything went well and I can’t wait to see her in action on screen again! If you’re interested, you can read or listen to my interview with Howl of a Good Time star and co-producer, Tamara Glynn, to hear about the other horror stars who make an appearance in this highly anticipated short film.

“Director Patrick Rea (Nailbiter) has just wrapped a new horror-comedy short, entitled Howl of a Good Time. Included below are several behind-the-scenes photos from principal photography, courtesy of Dominic Wieneke.

The short stars Tamara Glynn (Halloween 5), Leslie Easterbrook (The Devil’s Rejects), and Renae Geerlings (Rob Zombie’s Halloween 2, Compound Fracture), and involves a horror-movie loving little girl who attempts to sneak into a private screening of fictional horror film Foaming at the Mouth II. However, it’s clear that this isn’t a typical film screening.

Howl of a Good Time was filmed over four days at the Hot Springs Horror Film Festival, which took place October 23-26 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It was produced by Rea, Glynn, and Bill Volland. Hanuman Brown-Eagle (Nailbiter) was the director of photography.

Another of Rea’s short films, Counter Parts, will be screening at the New York City Horror Film Festival on November 14.”
