“Lorelei L. Lanford was born on March 27 in Namur, Belgium. The daughter of filmmaker Guy Bodart and fashion designer Chantal di Bastini, Lorelei’s grandparents were actors/singers at the Royal Theatre in Brussels. Lanford received her education in Belgium and Tahiti, French Polynesia. A professional dancer since the age of eleven, Lorelei has performed in Europe, the South Pacific, and the United States for both her own Royal Tahitian Dance Troupe and the Cook Islands Cultural dance group the Kau Ariki Dance Group. She won an award for best dancer in the early 1980’s. Lanford made her film debut as an extra at age fourteen. In 1987 Lorelei moved to Hollywood, Los Angeles, California to pursue a career in movies. Lanford enjoys swimming, weight lifting, and belly dancing as well as Tahitian and Hawaiian dancing. The CEO of the production company IFA Pictures, Lorelei resides in Las Vegas, Nevada.”*

1. How did you get into the industry?
My grandparents were actors at the Royal Theatre of Belgium and my father is a film director so it came naturally… I started acting in my father’s films at a very young age and at 17 I had the lead in the horror Film The Antichrist
2. Who inspired you most?
I must say Vincent Price. A great actor. I watch the films only for him. He is so captivating
3. What are the next couple projects you are working on?
I am currently working on All Hallows Eve With Vanessa Coleman and Billy Patterson as the 1st Assistant Director… Next will be a remake of Killer’s Mind where I will also be the 1st AD and at the end of the year I will direct my first Film NETHERWOOD… I do love film and we only shoot on Ultra 16mm and 35mm. I almost forgot to mention that I will also be acting in Netherwood, and I started a web site that is for Indie Filmmakers.
