Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” is really a horror movie trailer.

I was searching through Youtube before, looking for any new, classic or popular movie trailers that were redone to make the title look like a horror film. There haven’t been any good ones since Frozen’s horror adaption last year, but I was determined. That’s when I came across this little gem.

Taylor Swift is one of pop’s biggest stars of the last decade. Her last album, 1989, was released through Big Machine in October and spent four nonconsecutive weeks at #1. 1989 has sold over 4,500,000 copies to date and spawned the chart topping singles “Shake It Off,” “Style” and “Blank Space.”

Now, some genius over at Slate Video took “Blank Space,” Swift’s single that serves as a warning to any future man that breaks her heart, and turned it into the trailer for a horror film. Devilish staring, arguing, kidnapping, lighting things on fire, slashing things with knives, assault… Those were all things present in the video even BEFORE the horror trailer adaption. All Slate Video had to do was edit them together, add creepy backing tracks and ominous text and boom!

Before you say anything, I know this isn’t exactly material for our target audience… But in the tradition of continuing with crazy obsessed females or pop stars in horror films a la Swimfan, Obsessed and The Boy Next Door… Here’s the video of “Blank Slate” as a horror film trailer.
