Film reviewer Shawn Francis is the man behind DVD News Flash and has been reviewing films for years. His work is very impressive and can be found by clicking the link above. Francis has recently came up on hard time and now his family home is being foreclosed on. He is currently trying to raise $5000 to get his neck above water so he does not lose his home and wind up on the streets. He is using GoFundMe to raise the money to keep his home.
Now, you may be asking what the fuck does this has to do with winning a copy of Richard Griffin’s Frankenstein’s Hungry Dead. Well, if you contribute to this campaign with any denomination you will automatically be entered into the contest. Francis himself will be monitoring this closely. Once you contribute, send an email to blacktooth@horrorsociety.com with the subject “Frank” and once confirmed you will be entered into the contest. If the subject line is not titled “Frank” and you did not contribute to the GoFundMe then you will be disqualified.
I know this is asking a lot to win a copy of a movie when you can easily go purchase it from Wild Eye Releasing but this is for a good cause and your contribution could help this man keep his home. Please check it out!
