Trailer: Matt Cloude’s “The Bride”

11401016_10153466624316995_7720050509239234568_nI know that Matt Cloude is busy with his unofficial entry in the iconic franchise from George A. Romero, Night of the Living Dead: Genesis, so I give him a lot of credit for tackling multiple projects at once. I’ve also, regrettably, never seen any of his previous titles and all of his current projects are raising my anticipation for his upcoming releases by a few notches. But, The Bride? I wonder what sick shit is in store for us here…

The Bride is a short film, written and directed by Cloude, that will be included in the upcoming anthology Beneath the Old Dark House. The film will follow a psychotic man who kills young women and takes their pieces as trophies. Will he be able to find the perfect women to piece together into his perfect trophy wife? Or will his lust for love and lust for blood go un-relinquished?

Kaila Spargo, Paul Sieber, Kelli-Anne Harris and Tom Gore will star.

Sounds like a modern, twisted version of Bride of Frankenstein.
