Gore Orphanage has been available for purchase through its production company’s, Principalities of Darkness, website for some time now, but as of last week it is now available in Family Video stores across America and Canada. And it looks like the price is a bit cheaper, too! So if you want the good old fashioned feeling of getting a movie in-store and for a low price, then I suggest heading to a Family Video store near you and buying your copy this weekend!

The movie is based on a real Ohio urban legend. After discovering a road sign for Gore Orphanage, a pair of friends weave together an intricate and hair-raising story revolving around a children’s orphanage, its destruction in a fiery blaze and the ghosts of the victims who still wander the property. Meanwhile, 9-year-old Nellie’s entire family dies and she is taken to Gore Orphanage. She quickly learns that some things are worse than losing her own family and she has to fight to survive before she ends up dead, too.”
