I’ve reported on Tamara Glynn’s celebrateYOU brand several times in the past, most recently for her Bad Ass Body Butter and Zombie Prom Queen Charm. As with all businesses, especially independently owned ones, you can’t just roll everything out all at once; it takes time to grow and expand. Recently the entrepreneur, festival host, producer and actress known for starring in Halloween 5 and Howl of a Good Time expanded celebrateYOU to incorporate a lot more jewelry. All of the designs are alternative, earthy and fantastical with a little bit of steam punk thrown in for good measure. You can find everything from necklaces to rings in her jewelry collection, some that are more expensive than others.
Being that this is a horror website, though, I browsed through her 30+ pages of products to find pieces that I thought would be interesting or valuable to horror fans. Now, I wish I knew anything about fashion and jewelry so I could make QVC type comments, but I’m a jeans and t-shirt kind of guy and have no idea how to describe jewelry except for “shiny.” Luckily, the pieces I have picked out for your consideration have a description next to the buying option, so you should really click the links below to get a good summary of the item. This big charm appears to have been partially inspired by Lovecraft and I know a lot of you would buy something of his for $24.50. Probably one of the most expensive pieces in her collection, this Ruby Ring sells for $90.00, but is the perfect accessory to bring out the mother Earth goddess in you… or the wood witch, whichever. Finally, got a little one at home who isn’t ready for expensive, adult jewelry yet? Get them this skull and cat eye bracelet for $16.00 so they can rock the indie horror scene without you worrying about lost possessions.
