When it comes to a passion project such as this, you can’t jump in all guns blazing and hope for the best… like a teenage boy on prom night. Sometimes you have to wait for the right time to strike when all the pieces are in place… which sounds like just the thing a peeping tom would do! After a year and a half of development, crowd funding and pre-production, I’m happy to announce that The Events Surrounding a Peeping Tom & the Horror That Followed is scheduled to begin principal photography on August 26, 2016! Let’s get those eyeballs going!
A mix of horror and psychological thriller, The Events Surrounding a Peeping Tom is written by Damian Maffei based on the treatment by Brian James Fitzpatrick. Damian, an astounding actor most known for his roles in Christmas with the Dead and Closed for the Season, will also star in the film alongside Hannah Fierman of V/H/S/ and The Unwanted fame. Several more cast members are waiting to be announced and we should have that coming to you soon. Hi-8‘s Marcus Koch is currently tapped to direct.

The Events Surrounding a Peeping Tom & the Horror That Followed is the disturbing story of Martin Malone, a lonely peeping tom who finds himself caught and arrested following a misstep. As he nears the end of his court-mandated rehabilitation, Martin is still unable to fight his urges and begins to peep again. It is then that he discovers Rowan, the girl of his dreams. As his obsession with her grows, he begins to suspect that she may be involved with the occult. Using his peeping skills, Martin begins an investigation that leads him down a twisted path to something more horrible than anything he could ever imagine and realizes that all the while, he’s being watched himself…
