Buffy Gets A Board Game This October.

I’d Rather Another Video Game, But I’ll Take It.

I can’t wait to play this while having drinks with some friends.

ComicBook.com is reporting that a “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” board game is currently in development. This isn’t the first time that fans will be able to play as The Chosen One, especially considering an official Buffy board game was already released in 2000. And, who can forget all the video games, as seen in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (2002) and Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds (2003) for the Playstation 2 and XBox consoles and Buffy the Vampire Slayer (2002), Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Wrath of the Darkhul King (2003) and Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Sacrifice (2009) for the Gameboy and Nintendo DS consoles.

So, while Buffy the board game isn’t going to be a video game, I’ll be more than happy to add it to my collection anyway.

Buffy: The Board Game Slayer is set to be released on October 28, 2016. Designed by Thomas M Gofton and created by Jasco Games with Lynnvander Studios, the game will see 1 – 6 players as they defend Sunnydale from… something. I guess Lynnvander Studios is trying to keep the specifics a secret because it has yet to be revealed what the game will center around and which of the iconic characters you’ll be able to play as. However, they have estimated that the game will take between 45 minutes and an hour to complete.

Catch it on sale this Fall for $39.99.
