On Tuesday, June 28th, developers and publishers The Fun Pimps and Telltale Publishing released horror survival video game 7 Days to Die to Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Previously, the game was released exclusively to Steam and OSX in December 2013, but after selling almost two million downloads, the owners decided to adapt it to disc for even more success. You can still purchase it for your PC from the game’s official site for $24.99, but now you can also own it on gaming consoles like Playstation 4 and Xbox One for $29.99.

7 Days to Die is a completely unique gaming experience as the first person shooter has no story-line; your only goal, literally, is to survive by all means necessary. It also blends tower defense and role playing elements like combat, crafting, exploration, looting, quests and character growth into the game play. This is certainly a one of a kind blend of elements that goes far beyond other survival games like Dead Island. Get your copy today to see what the hype is about.

Wiki describes the plot as: “The game’s events happen after a nuclear unknown Third World War that destroyed an extremely large part of the world, except for some areas such as the county of Navezgane, Arizona. The player is a survivor of the war who must survive by finding shelter, food and water, as well as scavenging supplies to fend off the numerous mutants and zombies (hinted to be the consequence of nuclear fallout) that populate Navezgane.”
