MV5BMTU3NDQxMTIyNl5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwNTQ3MTUyOA@@._V1_UY1200_CR134,0,630,1200_AL_Being that today is The Fourth of July, I decided to dedicate this edition of Where Are They Now to one of the cast members featured in Uncle Sam. I decided to go with Leslie Neale because she has the most surprising ending. The actress began her career making guest appearances on popular television shows including “Beauty and the Beast,” “Father Dowling Mysteries,” “Heartbeat,” “My Two Dads,” “Seinfeld” and “Star Trek: Next Generation” all throughout 1987 to 1990 which eventually lead to a small recurring role in “Dallas.”

Shortly after her success in television, Leslie booked a small role as Foster’s Technician in Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990). Two years later she booked a small part in Honey I Blew Up the Kids (1992) before landing the supporting role of Sally Baker in Uncle Sam (1996). Sally was the sister of patriotic undead killer Sam Harper and was one o the few people to survive his massacre. After appearing in “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” and “Viper” in the late 1990’s, Neale concluded her acting career with a small part in mystery-thriller Shadow of Doubt (1998).

So, where is Leslie Neale now?

She works behind-the-scenes in documentaries, actually. In 2004 she produced and directed the documentary Juvies, which profiles kids who are sentenced to crimes as adults. In 2013 she directed the documentary Unlikely Friends, which profiles victims who end up becoming friends with the attackers who victimized them. Keeping up with the criminal, political and social themes, Leslie is very vocal on Twitter in relation to causes and laws that she believes in. Check her out there for her musings on the much needed changes to American laws.
