Here’s a detailed synopsis:

When a group of filmmakers decide to investigate an abandoned Asylum famed for its mysterious disappearances they soon discover the truth is far more horrific than they could have ever imagined. Led by Director RICHARD MACKINTOSH and Producer LEONARD KINSTER, the group plan to spend the weekend inside the walls of Cain Hill Psychiatric Hospital. Famous for the many unexplained disappearances and tales of a murder call CHESTER LOCKHART. The team aim to capture the truth behind the famous Cain Hill Asylum. Once inside and set up they soon discover that the stories about Cain Hill aren’t just made up to bring in tourist and they are not alone. What first seemed like a routine shoot soon becomes a game of cat and mouse with a psychopath determined the kill the intruders.

How This Baby’s Gunna Feel:

The horror genre today is full of films that rely all too much on cheap scare tactics and being as gory as they possibly can be. Long gone are the days of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween and Nightmare on Elm Street. Instead we’re subjected to endless films about moving closets and human centipede’s. These films rely on a formula that is replicated over and over again. Like the horrors of the 70’s; dripping with tension, suspense, dread and fear. Cain Hill is a modern horror with a classic style that will introduce the world to a whole new monster.

Their Plan with the Budget:

We want to get the best out of your donations and make your support go as far as possible so we have created a fluid budget. What does that mean? Well it means that we don’t have a set budget for each department, due to the flexible funding of our campaign it means whatever our total funds are we can spread them across department ensuring that your money is used efficiently and every department gets the best out of our fundraising including cast and crew expenses, location fees, camera, lighting and sound, make up and prosthetics, props and costumes, and production fees.
