I wonder if the film’s distributor, Matchbox Films, was prepared for this level of success. New horror film The Fostering was released on Amazon UK today and it’s already a solid hit. Only five DVD copies remain with the title being in the top 700 horror movies chart and in the top 10,000 overall. Better get your copies fast, though I’m sure new ones will be pressed and delivered very soon!
Synopsis: Three teenagers go visit a friend at his old farmhouse for the weekend. What they didn’t expect was to be stuck in the middle of a centenary war between good and evil.
The Fostering is a Brazilian export, written by Rafael Baliu and co-directed by Dante Vescio and Rodrigo Gasparini. Titled O Diabo Mora Aqui in its home country, the film stars Pedro Caetano, Pedro Carvalho, Mariana Cortines, Felipe Frazao and Diego Goullart.
