Hot Springs Horror Film Festival 2016 Announces First Guests

AR, 08/16/2016 – The Forth Annual Hot Springs Horror Film Festival is officially blasting off toward its 2016 event to be held on September 22 through September 25 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Noted for being one of the best festivals and conventions in the region, HSHFF is a great place for aspiring, student, new and independent filmmakers to rub shoulders with some of the best hit-makers in the business. With only a little more than a month left until this highly anticipated festival, show directors Bill Volland and Tamara Glynn have announced the first two guests on the line-up.

Alan Howarth is the first master of fright added to the list. You may not know his face, but you’ll certainly recognize his unmistakable scores and music productions that have accompanied so many iconic horror films such as Children of the Dead, The Dentist 2, The House at the End of the Drive and They Live. Howarth even worked alongside the equally iconic composer John Carpenter in megahits like Christine, Escape from New York, Halloween II and Prince of Darkness. Not only will HSHFF 2016 reunited Howarth with a fellow cast and crew member from Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers, but it will also be one of his first promotional appearances ahead of his upcoming project Hoax, due out in 2017. The second guest announcement is none other than Marlon W. Shulman, whose company Horror Equity Funding is responsible for so many independently produced films in our favorite genre. With his revenue-producing leadership, boosted by his intuition and passion for the industry, he’s drawn a larger audience to motion pictures within our target group. His talent is based on the knack for recognizing voids in the entertainment market and using his entrepreneurial skills to usher independent projects within those voids into the global market. In part, he has helped to usher generations-old businesses into the digital age.  For more information, please visit: https://libertaslaw.com/marlon-schulman/.
