The Story:

“In the near future, Bobby & Willy, two hard fightin’ vigilantes, accidentally afoul of crime kingpin “Boss Benifico”, who has unofficial control of their crumbling city.

In retaliation, The Boss has their brother Kevin kidnapped… and sends the boys a personal message.  His ultimatum:  Find your brother in 2 days… or he’s history.  If successful, Kevin will go free and they’ll have the dubious honor of being Benifico’s personal bodyguards.

It won’t be easy, because to test their worthiness, Benifico also put a price on Bobby and Willy’s heads: every bounty hunter, psychopath, gangster and thrill killer in the city is now out for the ransom, and their blood.

Will the brothers have what it takes to find Kevin and survive the relentless gauntlet alone?  Or will they need to seek help from their old, disbanded crime fighting crew, the Metal City Mayhem.

The Project:

Metal City Mayhem is a proposed action / comedy series created by myself (Dan Jackson) for Savage Storm Studios.  In the spring summer of 2015, myself, Gil Fernandez (lead actor and fight choreographer) and small crew of actors and martial artists filmed a “Concept Trailer” for Metal City Mayhem.

inspired by recent movies like Hobo With a Shotgun, Machete, and Black Dynamite, all of which started out as “Fake” genre movie trailers for movies that didn’t exist yet.

The trailer was shot on a shoestring, over the course of many weekends and pizzas, all over the South Florida area.  We employed guerilla film-making tactics, using “found locations” , alleyways, parks, abandoned locations and other public areas as our backdrops.
