(Short Film) Mariano Cattaneo’s Mom’s Voice

There are bonds even Death can’t break…

Aren’t foreign films great? La voz de Mama (Mom’s  Voice) was submitted to me by Argentinian film-maker Mariano Cattaneo. What’s great about this five minute short is that it’s to the point and sweet, it has exquisite cinematography, and it has a kick ass ending. Not only is it a prime example of the talents that producers have in other nations, but it speaks to the audience that loves a tradition ghost story with creepy apparitions and disembodied voices over current Hollywood trends.

La voz de Mama (Mom’s Voice) is written and directed by Mariano Cattaneo. Cast members include Fiorela Duranda, Cecilia Heroiina and Adrian Garavano. I thoroughly enjoyed the talents of the cast and crew despite having to witness this short through English subtitles. It’s definitely worth a watch and I’ve included the video for you below! Check it out!
