Dread is an Indie Slasher/Monster movie hybrid, currently in production. The image is from the first day of shooting and depicts the ad villian Monster.
The story follows individuals leaving in Hollow Grove, a town known for it’s three day Halloween festival. Twenty years ago, a series of brutal murders were committed. But just as suddenly as they started they stopped.
All grown up Glen Lantz, now a photo journalist, comes face to face with the creature that he says killed his brother. Monster follows Glen back to Hollow Grove and target it’s residence. Especially Julia Carpenter, Glens’ old flame. Glen must team up with the newly appointed sheriff Clay Moore, to stop Monster before he eats his way through everyone. What dark secrets lie in this creatures past and what Glen and Clay discover will sent shivers down their spines. Generating an uneasy sense of Dread.
