Concept Media’s new suspense thriller, Failing Grace, launched its fundraising campaign via Indiegogo on Saturday. The film is written & directed by Ryan Stacy (his first feature in four years) and is seeking to begin production in mid-July. Stacy announced the project in January with a slightly different cast set to headline the film. The campaign video features a song by Dayton-based band This Pine Box entitled “End of the Race” & appearances by Stacy, producer Shawn Burkett, and Grace co-star Marylee Osborne.
Grace under went casting changes & new stars were quietly announced on the project’s Facebook page in April. Actress Amanda Collins (Venture, Ladies Night) reunites with Stacy on Grace as the protective, secretive Maggie Novak. Making her film debut at the film’s titular character Grace is Caroline Vineyard. Also making her debut as Cara is newcomer Kayla D. Cook! The three newest additions join an already set cast of talented indie actors including Josh Miller, Stacy Freeders, and Adam Atherton.
Failing Grace is currently eying a November 2017 premiere.
