Sex toys and full head casts for secret purposes? This could be Christopher G. Moore’s most promising project yet, and we’re already talking about a guy whose previous shorts involve human delicacies and a demon that eats dicks. When he’s not becoming a viral sensation for his cosplay that mixes “Doctor Who” with “Stranger Things,” Moore can be found as the leader and chief of Cinema Fuel Productions, a film-making company known for eight short films including film festival hits Foodie (2012), Disengaged (2014) and Knob Goblins (2015). Gut Punched is going to be Cinema Fuel’s ninth endeavor and I’m quite excited about it.
Based on the script by Eryk Pruitt, Gut Punched will follow a ladies man who has a one night stand with a sensual and mysterious woman he meets at a bar. The next morning, he wakes up to discover he’s been turned into a human punch bowl. How the two concepts correlate remains to be seen, but I’m hopeful that horror-comedy fans will get healthy doses of innuendos and metaphorical puns in this upcoming project from writer, director, producer and editor Christopher G. Moore. Confirmed cast members include the leads Tom A. Major and Sara Gorsky as well as Kelli-Anne Harris and Carrie Jones.
