Independent developer, Haemimont Games together with Wired Productions, a leading independent games publisher, are pleased to launch today a new short film titled “F#ck You Lloyd Kaufman: An Interview From Hell.” Produced in partnership with Troma Films and featuring none other than Lloyd Kaufman, President of Troma Entertainment and creator of The Toxic Avenger, himself, this new movie follows a long line of exciting independent titles making their debut completely free on Troma’s YouTube channel Troma Movies, it was announced today by Levi White, Head of Public Relations at Troma Entertainment, Inc.
Best known in Troma circles for Victor Vran and its critically acclaimed Motörhead: Through the Ages addition, Wired Productions and Haemimont Games have produced this short film as a tribute to Troma President Lloyd Kaufman, in honour of his starring role in Victor Vran and in memory of his long and enduring friendship with Motörhead bassist and frontman Lemmy Kilmister.
This new short film, shot deep in a London crypt, stars none other than Troma CEO and cult leader, Lloyd Kaufman alongside The Toxic Avenger!
Plot Summary:
Original intended as an art piece, this exciting new production sees Lloyd Kaufman discussing his starring role in Victor Vran and how it feels stepping back into the video game spotlight after nearly two decades. Unfortunately, as one might expect with Lloyd’s many mega-corporation enemies, things take a dramatic turn for the worse. The ever fearless Lloyd is lost in the dulcet tones of his own voice whilst a slaughter ensues, leading to much death and bloodshed… The producers salvaged what they could from the shoot and are presenting it to the public from today!
A spokesman at Wired Productions, who somehow survived the filming, said, “This really is THE movie that nobody has been crying out for… We only hope the fans, can appreciate the creative vision and Lloyd’s role in Victor Vran.”
Lloyd Kaufman, when approached, said, “What the hell is this!? Wired – they own me money!”
This first, and likely last, film from Wired Productions has been lovingly titled ‘F#ck You Lloyd Kaufman: An Interview from Hell’ and was shot in digital format. Created with love for Lloyd to mark his starring role in Motörhead Through the Ages. Shot in true Troma fashion.
