Social media pages for horror film Dead Awake have been silent since May, which is odd because that means they totally dropped the ball on announcing that the film is now available to own on Blu-ray and DVD! Courtesy of FilmRise, Dead Awake can be purchased through Amazon (click here) with bonus features including commentary, deleted scenes and trailers.
Dead Awake is written & produced by Jeffrey Reddick (Final Destination) and directed & produced by Phillip Guzman (Desdemona). Lead and supporting cast-members include Jocelin Donahue (House of the Devil, Insidious 2), Jesse Bradford (Swimfan, “The West Wing”), Jesse Borrego (“24,” “Dexter”), Lori Petty (A League of Their Own, “Orange is the New Black”) and Brea Grant (“Dexter,” H2).
The film follows a young woman (Donahue) whose sister dies in her sleep during an episode of sleep paralysis. Events unfold leading her to believe that the same demon that killed her sibling is now targeting her and her group of friends.
Dead Awake is also available on all VOD outlets.
