Kat Meoz – “LA Don’t Love You” [OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO] Premieres on Troma Movies

Los Angeles based garage rocker Kat Meoz (f.k.a. GRIT) has shared the second video off her latest EP for the title track, “LA Don’t Love You”. The official music video is available on Troma Entertainment’s YouTube page, Troma Movies.

Shot by acclaimed director Kansas Bowling (Troma’s B.C. Butcher) the video pays homage to Kenneth Anger’s infamous novel Hollywood Babylon, showcasing the darkness and exploits of the glamour “Old Hollywood.” The song itself is a blistering anthem of self doubt in the City of Angels, which is a fitting soundtrack to the gritty, frenetic video.

Kat Meoz’s latest release, “LA Don’t Love You” is out now on Bodan Kuma Recordings via iTunes, Spotify, and other music streaming platforms.

“The video is inspired by Kenneth Anger’s Hollywood Babylon shot on black and white 8mm. We narrowed it down and recreated three old Hollywood scandals with Kat playing a character in each. Since the concept is very campy, I just had to have Lloyd cameo in it – he played a great Johnny Stompanato.” – Kansas Bowling, Director.

“Toxie and I love spooning to KAT MEOW’s brilliant L.A. DON’T LOVE YOU! Great video by Troma Institute For Gifted Youth’s KANSAS BOWLING!” – Lloyd Kaufman, President of Troma Entertainment and creator of The Toxic Avenger.
