Filmmaker Cheyenne Gordon, co-writer of The Wicked One and writer/director of Scream for Summer, has officially joined Concept Media Films! Concept Media, “one of today’s hardest working independent film companies”, welcomes Gordon as a valued addition, further solidifying the studio’s momentum an ever-evolving, indie powerhouse.
Gordon is coming off of his directorial debut Scream for Summer (Studio 605), and is already working on several new scripts. One of these projects is set to be produced at Concept Media. At press time, details about the project are being kept under wraps, but Gordon did have this to say regarding the merger: “Very proud to move forward as a creative partner within Concept Media!” Studio co-founders Shawn Burkett & Ryan Stacy have also released the following the statements:
“We have been in talks for the past few months , and this as a great opportunity for everyone.
Cheyenne is crazy talented in so many aspects of art and film production.
He’s down to earth, like minded and my kind of fucked up…Plus he sends nudes.”
“I am incredibly excited to work with Shy [Gordon] in the very near future!
Mr. Gordon has come to command a distinct level of respect and admiration
so early in his career; that was the first blip on our radars. His commitment
and passion to his writing really strikes a chord with me. I’ve heard some of
his ideas he’s got rattlin’ around upstairs…dude’s twisted.
But in this game, ya gotta be.”
Concept Media is known for such titles as “Don’t Fuck In The Woods”, “The Sleeping Soul” and the “Midsummer Nightmares” franchise. Currently CM is wrapping up “Failing Grace” and “Betsy”.
