Each Door on The Scarehouse Blu-ray Opens A New Bonus Feature
After a highly anticipated wait, horror fans, thrill seekers and torture/revenge hounds will be pleased to know that Gavin Michael Booth’s The Scarehouse has finally seen its North American Blu-ray release courtesy of Parade Deck Films. Sarah Booth (“American Horror Story”), Katherine Barrell (“Wynonna Earp”) and Kimberly-Sue Murray (Crimson Peak), the film takes place two years after a tragic accident and six college girls are invited to a party inside an elaborate Halloween funhouse. Once inside, the girls realize their hosts’ intentions are not all fun and games and that, indeed, revenge is a bitch.
With the release of The Scarehouse on Blu-ray this week, here is an exclusive look at composer Adrian Ellis’ work in creating the film’s music. Ellis’ choice to include elements recorded on the film’s set brings a unique layer to a score already layered with synth and orchestral elements. “Behind The Score” is one of many bonus features on The Scarehouse Blu ray. Without further adieu, watch the creation of this original film score from start to finish.
