Scifi Adventure ‘Time Trap’ to Premiere at Austin Film Festival.

TEXAS BORN AND BRED SCI-FI ADVENTURE “TIME TRAP” HAS TEXAS PREMIERE AT AUSTIN FILM FESTIVAL OCT. 28 AND NOV. 1

Austin, TX (October 16, 2017) – Pad Thai Pictures and Filmsmith’s innovative and exciting sci-fi adventure TIME TRAP, directed by Mark Dennis and Ben Foster, will have its Texas premiere at the Austin Film Festival October 28 and November 1, 2017. TIME TRAP co-directors Mark Dennis & Ben Foster and cast members Max Wright and Olivia Draguicevich will attend the Festival screenings.

TIME TRAP stars Cassidy Gifford (The Gallows), Reiley McClendon (Pearl Harbor, “The Fosters”); Brianne Howey (“The Exorcist”, Horrible Bosses 2); Olivia Draguicevich (Strings); Max Wright (Freaks of Nature); and Andrew Wilson (Whip It, Bottle Rocket), and was directed by Mark Dennis & Ben Foster (Strings) written by Dennis and produced by Foster, Dennis, and Zachary Matz. (City Island, Jolene).

When his mentor Professor Hopper (Wilson) goes missing while exploring a remote system of deep caverns in rural Texas, Taylor (McClendon) organizes an informal search party with his best gal pal Jackie (Howey) and fellow student (and crush) Cara (Gifford); tagging along are Cara’s younger sister, Veeves (Draguicevich), and her geeky friend Furby (Wright). Intrigued by the find, the group descends into the caverns, and in their search for Hopper they encounter a number of strange phenomena. It soon becomes apparent that the impossible exists—a rift in the space-time continuum where time passes differently within the cave than on the surface, and they are not the only ones to have become stuck there. With no hope for rescue, they descend further into the caverns, discovering one of the most coveted legends in history, only to be caught in the crossfire for its control.
