John Carpenter’s ANTHOLOGY Album Notches Several Top 10s.

On October 20, 2017, music-man and iconic director John Carpenter released his fifth studio album – Anthology: Movie Themes 1974 to 1998 – through Sacred Bones Records. Anthology is the follow-up to LP’s Lost Themes, Lost Themes 2, Lost Themes: Remixed, and EP Classic Themes Redux. The tracks on Anthology are re-recorded and re-vamped versions of Carpenter’s most popular themes from his most popular movies like Assault on Precinct 13, The Fog, Prince of Darkness, Escape from New York, Halloween, They Live, The Thing and Christine.

Upon its release, Anthology: Movie Themes 1974 to 1998 debuts on several Billboard Music Charts including:

Heatseekers Albums – #4
Tastemakers Albums – #10
Vinyl Albums – #10
Independent Albums – #14
Top Album Sales – #69

It also charted internationally, reaching the #89 spot in England and the #37 spot in Scotland.
