Special Guest Tyler Spicer is a NYC based Director for Theatre and Film. He is currently directing LADY M, a new adaptation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Tyler also co-created and directs Madame Mathieu’s Soiree, a recurring avant-garde variety, which has featured and developed the work of over 30 broadway professionals and 150 emerging artists. Spicer is also the producer for the Soiree’s Donovan Residencies: two six-month-long comprehensive development opportunities for emerging experimental artists.

SHOW SPONSOR: Hillary Claus! “We at Hillary Claus have plenty of wishes for 2018: equal pay, intersectional feminism, and a return to some kind of respectful discourse. While Santa is definitely a true ally, we just don’t feel like sitting on a cis white man’s lap and asking for real progressive change is exactly in line with the future we want. We’ve put together the Hillary Claus Pop-up Holiday Booth, where New Yorkers can come, sit on Hil’s lap, and share their wishes big and small. Join us at the Union Square Holiday Market on December 9th and 10th to get a selfie with a true symbol of giving.”

You can donate to the cause by going here! This wonderful event was created by past GSH guests and current cast members.

Gas Station Horror is a monthly, high-energy improv show that turns terrible horror movies into excellent comedy. Host J. W. Crump is joined by a talented group of horror-philes from the major comedy theaters in New York. After playing clips from low-rent horror movies, the improvisers take the stage to finish the scene in new and hilarious ways. Every show features movie fun-facts, brand-new clips, and a sponsored raffle where audience members have the chance to win free DVDs and other prizes. Most shows take place at the Peoples Improv Theater. Check out the Upcoming Shows section to find out when the next Gas Station Horror is premiering. GSH has been featured as a hot pick in the skint, Hy Reviews, The Blot, Time Out NY, and Horror Society, among many others!
