Jesus Christ Motherfucker has officially added legendary sfx artist Joe Castro to the team! Joe is one of the most talented genre fx artists currently working in the industry and pictures of his work have gone viral for their jaw-dropping gore and elaborate prosthetics. Known for his work on films such as Bonehill Road, Blood Feast 2, and the Terror Toons series, Joe is sure to add a whole new level of brutality to this film of blasphemous revenge!
Jesus Christ Motherfucker tells the story of Jesus returning to find the man who framed him, crucified him, and left him for dead. Daeg Faerch (RZ’s Halloween, American Vandal) stars as Jesus alongside Elissa Dowling (Death House, Party Bus to Hell) who will be playing Mary, his one-eyed hooker sidekick. Also cast is performance artist Nik Sin as God.
The film is written and directed by Jason Hawkins (Blair Witch Legacy, American Bully) and is being produced by prolific genre producer Johnny Macabre (Scrawl, Crepitus, Don’t Fuck in the Woods). Filming is set to start this fall.
