Born in 1967 in Bern, CH, Beat-Man is the founder and operator of Voodoo Rhythm Records and tours endlessly around the world as a one man band (Lightening Beat-Man, Reverend Beat-Man) or with his companions (The Monsters, Die Zorros, The Coronets). Absolutely zero Top 100 bullshit, only blues trash and dirty, wild, out of control, weird, rock n’ roll garage trash ala The Monks, Neil Young, The Sonics, The Mummies, Guitar Wolf, Legendary Stardust Cowboys, Rammstein, Prince and many more!! Beat-Man has toured all over Europe, Japan, North & South America, Australia and New Zealand. Venues and festivals he’s performed in/at include Reithalle (Bern, CH) CBGB’s (New York, US) Shelter (Tokyo, JP) Jazz Festival (Montreux, CH) Speedfest (Eindhoven, NL) and Festival Beat (Italy) and many more.
Reverend Beat-Man is not only a Musician, no, he’s an apostle of bad taste! A true preacher in blues and trash! A restless soul that seeks for a better, much brighter, and colorful home! A never-ending fighter for the good and on an endless mission to WAKE PEOPLE UP!!!!
Raised in Los Angeles, CA, a classically trained and later a classically untrained multi-instrumentalist, and the daughter of a Mexican lawyer. She ran away to Bern, Switzerland and met Reverend Beat-Man, who took her in like a lost poodle. Since the age of 16, Garcia has performed all over Los Angeles with her screeching farfisa in short-lived garage punk bands as well as all throughout Europe and New Zealand with her own project, Manos del Chango (2014-2017) alongside Voodoo Rhythm artist, Delaney Davidson. Her performances are coined Habanero Blues, a steady blend of punk rock, blues, and Mexican ranchera music. Miss Garcia is a commanding performer and is always coming from her heart, it makes a unique and powerful yin & yang collaboration with the one and only Reverend Beat-Man.
