Sources are reporting that Golden Globe Nominee, television host, veteran and all around kickass gentleman R Lee Ermey has passed away.
It was confirmed by his long time manager, who stated that Ermey died of pneumonia at age 74.
R Lee left a huge mark in horror history. With a career that lasted over three decades, he’s most known for playing Sheriff Hoyt in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake and prequel Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. His other roles in the horror genre can be found in Body Snatchers, The Frighteners, Seven, Starship Troopers, The Terror Within 2 and Willard.
