Altar Boy at it’s core is inspired by trashy knockoff sci-fi flicks and gonzo comics that you’d find in old National Lampoon zines. Tucked away in the crudely sketched out panels, you’ll find a deep satirical look at the world today.
It follows a teenage boy who is being hunted by intergalactic bounty hunters who need to harvest his soul in order to power their super weapon. This super weapon happens to be a giant phallic planet destroyer that is fueled by the souls of holy children. Our hero, Altar Boy, is the last child of God left on Earth One.
