90’s model and actress Jennifer Rubin is bringing the perks of the convention circuit to GoFundMe, and it’s all for a cause that’s deeply personal to her. Jennifer’s older sister, Annie, has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and she needs help with alleviating some of the bills that come with the disease. Annie’s home also needs to be remodeled to become wheel chair accessible. Jennifer’s GoFundMe campaign is hoping to raise $18,000 in donations with the help of her fans. Any contribution of $50 or more will receive a personalized autograph from the former starlet.
Jennifer is most known for playing Taryn in 1987’s A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors. When the Wes Craven horror film opened at #1, genre fans around the country saw Ms. Rubin transformer into a punk rock deity with a pair of sliding knives. Of course, Taryn is no match for Freddy Krueger and he easily murders her with his syringe fingers. Following A Nightmare on Elm Street 3, Jennifer went on to co-star in a number of other horror films including Bad Dreams, Drop Dead Gorgeous, The Fear Inside, Screamers, The Wasp Woman, Little Witches, Twists of Terror and Sanctimony.
Good luck, Jenn!
