In celebration of the film’s release in 1968, Paramount Home Media has released a brand new trailer for ROSEMARY’S BABY 50TH Anniversary Edition, which is available now on Digital.
A young couple moves in to an apartment only to be surrounded by peculiar neighbors and occurrences. When the wife becomes mysteriously pregnant, paranoia over the safety of her unborn child begins to control her life.
50 years ago, it was one of the most iconic ad campaigns in cinema history:
Stephen O. Frankfurt and Phil Gips are the New York admen responsible not only for the final poster but also the ad campaign created forRosemary’s Baby.
It was their first motion picture assignment for the two veteran advertising men, but they would go on to collaborate on more than 150 film campaigns over three decades of motion picture advertising. In discussing the idea behind Rosemary’s Baby‘s initial concept, Gips explained, “We set out to create an ad that appealed to the imagination.”
For the 50th Anniversary, Paramount Pictures is using the iconic tagline as a hashtag—
#PrayForRosemarysBaby in addition to the URLPrayForRosemarysBaby.com
