Halloween Claims The #1 Spot with $95 Million in First Week Ticket Sales, Plus Bonus Statistics Inside!

It’s official. Halloween is the #1 movie of the week with $94,656,000 made in domestic ticket sales. This is a huge accomplishment for the horror genre, especially when considering the new movie was only made for $40,000,000. It’s not doing too shabby overseas, either, and saw a foreign gross of $15,868,000. Michael Myers is back, folks, and I’m so happy he’s being so well received.

Here’s some statistics to show just how well Halloween is doing at the box office.
