Ronda Rousey Made A Mock Trailer About Killer Tables, Watch the Madness Inside!

The world of horror cinema has seen a ton of stationary items turned murderous creatures with movies like Rubber, Christine, Killer Condom and Killer Pinata. So, why not a movie about killer tables? We rely on them so much as it is, how would we handle them turning on us?

In recent weeks, iconic athlete Ronda Rousey has dropped several hints that she may return to WWE during the promotion’s December PPV, TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs. A former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion and UFC Hall of Famer, Rousey made a smooth transition from UFC to WWE in January 2018 and became the Raw Women’s Champion less than a year later. She held onto the belt for 232 days before losing the championship to Becky Lynch during the first ever female-lead main event at Wrestlemania. Rousey has been absent from the company ever since due a hand injury she sustained in the match.

During her time away from the limelight, Ronda has focused on private time with her husband and family, the launch of her YouTube channel and Judo tutorials, and the maintenance of the self-sustaining farm that she calls home. Still, sports entertainment isn’t far from her heart, as she recently uploaded a second video having to do with Tables, Ladders and Chairs. Is this another indication that she’ll return to WWE in December? We’ll have to wait and see, but I hope she produces and stars in TABLES in her downtime because now I want to see a feature length adaption.

TABLES sees Ronda, Devon Hughes (a fellow WWE Hall of Famer), Travis Browne (a UFC Heavyweight Competitor), Paige (a former WWE Women’s Champion), Julia DeMars (Ronda’s sister) and a plethora of other bystanders as Ronda and Travis’ farm – Browsey Acres – is covered in blood and besieged by a host of collapsible tables out to avenge their ancestors. A mix of horror, action and comedy, TABLES is basically the best thing to happen to me since it’s the opportunity for me to write about my two favorite things (Ronda and horror films) in the same article.

Now, who wants to launch a Kickstarter so we can make TABLES a reality? With a cast of familiar faces, a strong fan base and Ronda’s success as an executive producer with Emmy Nominee “Why We Fight,” I’d be down for this project no matter where it goes. Major thanks to the team of Justin Golightly, Kyle Nilges, Jason Nawara and Vince Nigito for putting this concept together.
