HARPOON Sails Onto Showtime – Now Streaming in the US on Sho

Rivalries, dark secrets, and sexual tension emerge when three best friends find themselves stranded on a yacht in the middle of the ocean desperate for survival. With plenty of alcohol and very little food and water, emotions run high and their delusions become a reality. As the days stretch on and death seems inevitable, their terrifying truths float to the surface.

HARPOON stars Munro Chambers (star of cult hit Turbo Kid, Degrassi: The Next Generation), Emily Tyra (Code Black), and Christopher Gray (The Mist). The film was produced by Michael Peterson (Knuckleball), Kurtis David Harder (What Keeps You Alive) and Julian Black Antelope (True Fiction) for 775 Media Corp, and executive produced by Laurie Venning for Venntertainment, and narrated by Brett Gelman (Fleabag, Stranger Things)

The film is directed by prolific filmmaker Rob Grant who has garnered international and critical acclaim for his previous features Fake Blood, Mon Amie, and more. He has directed and edited multiple projects that have played at prestigious festivals around the world, and edited movies and series for the Lifetime Network and Netflix (with credits that include THE BFG, WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES, AND DEADPOOL 2).

From his horror movie disguised as a buddy comedy MON AMI, to the meta-docu-thriller FAKE BLOOD, and now to his relationship survival film HARPOON, Grant challenges the audience with the unexpected on every new script he conceives.

HARPOON world premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, and went on to screen at the Chattanooga Film Festival, Fantasia International Film Festival, Arrow’s FrightFest in London, and the Calgary Underground Film Festival, where it won the Audience Award, and Manchester’s Grimmfest, where it took home a number of honorable mentions and the award for Best Screenplay.

HARPOON is now streaming in the US on Showtime, and available on VOD and Bluray from Epic Pictures.

The film is available in the UK via Arrow Films and in Canada via A71.
