Bad Candy, the upcoming horror film from Scott Hansen and Desiree Connell, recently added two powerhouses to its main cast. Platinum selling, Grammy Award winning lead vocalist of Slipknot Corey Taylor and scream king Zach Galligan (Gremlins, Hatchet 3, The Chair) have joined the production as reenactment radio DJ personalities Chilly Billy and Paul.
They are slated to appear alongside previously announced cast members Derek Russo (Jumanji 2), Ryan Kiser (House of Manson), Kenneth Trujillo, Mike Milligan, Haley Nicole Leary, Bill Pacer and Alexandra Lucchesi.
Bad Candy is a film that follows the local Halloween stories of both myth and lessons learned in the small community town. With the annual Halloween Show on Psychotronic FM, reenactment Radio DJ Personalities Chilly Billy and Paul cover multiple stories spanning years within their city limits. With each story providing its own valuable lessons, it’s a grimy ending for most, but will the few good souls will survive?
This dark-comedy Halloween horror film is co-directed by Scott Hansen (The Possession Experiment) and Desiree Connell, which is also based on her screenplay. Hansen, Jacob Kasher, Richard Fitzpatrick, Bret Disent and Mitch Cox will also produce.
