Gravis Terrae (Crowd Funding)

From the Indiegogo page:

Gravis Terrae, Latin for “Earthly Grave” is a possession horror film about a mysterious root that takes the meaning of the word “terror” to a whole new level.

The film centers around a recently divorced woman, Jude, trying to get her life back on track after a marriage filled with guilt and disappointment. On her latest stroll through the woods, she finds a mysterious, bizarre looking root, and takes it back home. Fascinated by just how oddly shaped it is, resembling some sort of tentacled alien life form, she cares for it as if it were some ordinary houseplant.

It doesn’t take her that long to realize that the root is alive, in a different sort of way, and that it actually knows her fears. Hallucinations abound, strange grotesque visions fill her every waking moment of her life, to the point where she can no longer tell what is real.

We are currently in the process of building several crucial props for the film, including an entire mini set that will look like something out of this world. And this is where we really could use your help!

We are a pretty savvy bunch when it comes favoring creativity over money but sometimes even we need a nudge to get us to that next level that…well, can only be reached with some extra money in the pocket.

There is a great deal of practical effects (as well as CGI) that will make this film a very unique and visually striking film.

There are many fun perks we are offering for any and all contributions to our project, so make sure to check those out. We are 150% committed and dedicated to seeing this film all the way through as we do with all of our projects. A small, do it yourself group of just a few people, we pride ourselves on the fact that we have never abandoned a single project in our careers and that we pour every ounce of our passion into every that we do.

So, check out some of the perks we have and remember that no amount is too small. Every donation, no matter the amount helps us reach our goal.
