Mystery Science Theater 3000 – or MST3K to its friends – stars an unfortunate human “test subject” who has been trapped in space by evil scientists and forced to undergo the worst torture imaginable: watching some of the worst movies ever made, and cracking jokes about them with the help of two wisecracking robot companions named Tom Servo and Crow.

In 2015, more than 15 years after being canceled and banished to the dark recesses of Blockbuster and YouTube, Mystery Science Theater 3000 returned with a record-breaking Kickstarter campaign. Since then, MST3K has riffed its way through 20 new episodes, 2 critically acclaimed seasons on Netflix, and 3 sold-out live national tours!
But now, it’s time to try something new.
Free of network constraints, Mystery Science Theater 3000 has just launched a new Kickstarter to keep the show going without a network, and to show the world once and for all who really controls the entertainment industry. (We mean fans, obviously. Fans control the entertainment industry. Kind, intelligent, handsome folks like you!)
Just like we did in 2015, Shout! Factory has partnered with Mystery Science Theater 3000 to chart a new course, and to prove that fan-favorite shows can thrive without the support of big networks, studios or streamers.
