RLJE Films, a business unit of AMC Networks, has picked up select rights to the horror film, FRIED BARRY from Shudder, AMC Networks’ premium streaming service for horror, thriller and the supernatural. RLJE Films will release FRIED BARRY on VOD, Digital HD, DVD and Blu-Ray on October 5, 2021.
Written and directed by Ryan Kruger in his feature directorial debut, FRIED BARRY stars Chanelle de Jager (Stroomop) and Gary Green (Escape Room). The DVD will be available for an SRP of $27.97 and the Blu-ray for an SRP of $28.96.
In FRIED BARRY, Barry is a drug-addled degenerate who, after yet another bender, gets abducted by aliens. Barry takes a backseat as his alien visitor assumes control of his body and takes it for a joyride through Cape Town. What follows is an onslaught of drugs, sex and violence as Barry’s alien tourist enters the weird and wonderful world of humankind.
