The film reunites The People Under The Stairs’ Sean Whalen and Yan Birch. Maria Olsen (Paranormal Activity 3), Kaiti Wallen (Eternal Code), Michael Alexander (Moving Parts) and Wallen himself round out the cast.
Says Wallen of the film, shot in April in Lake Orion, Michigan : “It felt good and overdue to reconnect “Roach” and “The Stairmaster” for the first time since their iconic performances in Wes Craven’s “The People Under the Stairs”.
Wallen co-produced with Michael Alexander with Westside Warrior Films, (Wife) Kaiti Wallen with Painted Creek Productions, Annette Cama of Cama Productions and Joe Williamson of The Williamson Management Company.
Next step for Wallen and Beneath Us All is the festival circuit. The film is not yet signed but according to Wallen they have some pretty solid offers to consider already.
Pic follows Julie, played by Angelina Danielle Cama, a foster child heading for her 18th birthday. She finds an item buried in the woods with something unspeakable inside. Whalen plays Todd, Julie’s step father, who struggles with his gambling issues.
