A quick reminder: This week, on April 17th, Santa Rosa CA’s Roxy Stadium 14 will become ground zero for the Claypocalypse when Jake “Danger” Jolley’s comedy-horror film CLAY ZOMBIES 3D screens on a double feature with the sci-fi “classic” PHANTOM PLANET 3D, both in glorious, digital (polarized glasses ‘n’ all) SpaceBrains3D.
Synopsis – After a scientist accidentally starts the Claypocalpyse, Kilntown, Ohio is overwhelmed with Clay Zombies. As a plethora of memorable characters try to survive, only one thing is certain. If you touch the clay, you’re gonna have a bad day.
Regular attendees of Roxy’s Cult Film Series will be thrown into a thrilling new dimension as they watch a ragtag band of heroes fight an evil scientist determined to take over the world with clay-animated zombies. Then they’ll thrill to the interstellar escapades of two-fisted space jockey Dean Fredericks as he gets really small on a mysterious planetoid and fights towering monsters (Richard Kiel!), romances sexy space princesses, and learns the important lesson that, “the wisest and best is to fix our attention on the good and the beautiful.”
